Water and nature lovers will find maximum fun at Haus Möwe. Families and their dogs are happy and satisfied that there are so many recreational possibilities. You can either relax or be active. The house enjoys a top location in the lovely Schönhagen right by the Baltic Sea coast. Beaches on the left, the steep coast on the right, which you can walk along as far as Damp, the largest sailing harbour. It is also vibrant on Sundays. Events, open shops, a large sandy beach, a bar, café etc. There is a riding farm nearby. The beach has many spots ideal for children and there are clean public toilets. A little-used field track starts right opposite the house, ideal for walking the dog.

The house is very spacious on two floors, also ideal for two families, or with parents and grandparents. We have ensured that you will feel comfortable, providing everything from first-class mattresses and high-quality beds to a fully-equipped kitchen. The sauna is spacious and the billiards table in the cellar provides entertainment. There is an open fireplace in the living room. The whole house has modern gas heating since 2015.

The site is fenced all around and has a large grill area and a big garden. The site is surrounded by shielding bushes. There are useful items in the shed, such as cushions, loungers etc. There are two canopy beach chairs and a range of seating. Two parking spaces are available right in front of the house on the quiet street. Enjoy the evening sun and relaxing family life right on site in the light of lanterns. Several dogs are allowed at no additional charge. A kayak and fishing kayak are available on site.

PLEASE NOTE - also in the interest of the neighbors: only dogs with good upbringing are welcome!

It is very close to the beach, as well as the water, fields and the steep coast. It is an excellent area for cyclists, with waymarked trails along the Schlei and Baltic Sea. Enjoy the unique bird and nature world of the island Schwansen. You can enjoy freshly caught fish, especially herring and cod. Schönhagen is one of the most popular holiday destinations with a lovely sandy beach, near Kappeln, with many restaurants. Nearby you can find the large sailing harbour Damp, the excellent Schlei area with the idyllic fishing village Arnis, the smallest town in Germany and Haitabu, the famous Viking village. You can enjoy all water sports in this region. In Schubystrand there is a well-monitored water sports centre, as well as an enormous exceptional playground. The restaurant Fischerhaus in Schubystrand offers first-class fish, we recommend the fish stew. You can find an everyday grocery shop a five-minute walk away, as well as the tourism centre and a playground, fish stalls, ice cream stands etc. The Lobster beach restaurant on stilts with a view of the Baltic Sea is within walking distance, along the beach on the left behind the dog beach, prebooking recommended. The town Kappeln is a few minutes‘ drive away, with very good fish restaurants right by the pier, and shops with agreeable prices. The Schwansen peninsula is famous for its variety of birds and beautiful natural landscape. A drive around the Schlei with the old bridge at Lindaunis and a little crossing to Arnis is worth it. In our houses you can find a little collection of insider tips for walks and nice trips. You will be delighted by the good location. In the evening you can walk along a little path just above along the steep coast with an extensive view of the sea at every step.

    “Das Haus hat uns ausgesprochen gut gefallen, es liegt sehr nah zur Ostsee, ist sehr gut ausgestattet, hat einen herrlichen Garten und bietet ausreichend Platz für die angegebene Personenanzahl inkl. Hunde. Es war sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet.Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war sehr angenehm. Es gab neben den Kajaks auch noch zwei Fahrräder, Grill und alles was dazu gehört.
    Im oberen Bereich wäre eine äußere Verdunklungsmöglichkeit schön gewesen, aber dies hat jetzt auch nicht sonderlich gestört.
    Jederzeit wieder!”

    “Sehr geräumiges und gepflegtes Haus in schöner Lage. Tolle Betten und gute Ausstattung, alles vorhanden was gebraucht wird, von WLAN bis Geschirrspüler und Waschmaschine. Auch die mitgebrachten Vierbeiner kommen nicht zu kurz, Hundeplätze, Fressnäpfe und sogar Hundehandtücher sind vor Ort. So dass die Fellnasen nach Rückkehr vom Hundestrand (ca. 800m) schnell getrocknet werden können.”
