Pleasant and practically furnished holiday apartment on the first floor in a typical country house, once a farmhouse, surrounded by large grounds and situated in an excellent location in the hills between the sea and the tiny, antique hamlet of Castellabate. This holiday apartment is ideal for a family with one or two children, and you cat or dog is welcome, too. When you come back from your day trip into the country-side or to the beach in the evening, you can relax on the nice, covered terrace with panoramic view and enjoy your outdoor dinner. The beautiful seaside resort of Santa Maria di Castellabate, which you will reach in a few minutes drive, welcomes you with long, free or equipped sandy beaches, a beautiful promenade along the sea, numerous coffee bars and small, but excellent restaurants where you can taste the local food and the excellent wines of that area. Do not miss to visit the antique tiny hamlet of Castellabate (UNESCO world heritage site) which overlooks the whole bay of Santa Maria di Castellabate. This small medieval village in the hills has been mentioned for the first time in 1123, and as in the past it is a labyrinth of antique, small houses, romantic alleys, tiny squares with amazing panoramas, hidden trattorias and small coffee bars. On the main square called “piazzetta” you will meet the local population drinking an “espresso” or passing the evening in a small restaurant, and some international tourists who enjoy the wide view over the surrounding hills. Walking to the nearby “Belvedere di San Costabile”, you will enjoy incredible sunsets over the sea. The Cilento is situated in the south Italian region called Campania, between Paestum in the north, Sapri in the south and Vallo di Diano in the east with abt. 100 km coastal line, mountains and abt. 200 small medieval hamlets. Those among you who love history and art should not miss to visit Paestum in abt. 25 km distance with three of the most important Greek temples. On the way back to Santa Maria just stop in the small town of Agropoli with its medieval center overlooking the town and reachable by means of large steps called “scaloni”, where you can enjoy a beautiful view over the whole northern coast from the fortress.     “Keurig schoon huisje, aardige verhuurders, spreken alleen nauwelijks Engels. Gezellig mee met hun motorboot gevaren, was erg mooi om zo langs de kust te varen. Huisje ligt mooi gelegen met prachtig uitzicht. Wel een auto nodig om bij de kust te komen, is ongeveer 10 min rijden.
    Keukengerei is wat gebrekkig wat betreft borden en glaswerk, verder functioneerde alles.
    Nette badkamer en kamers.
    Geen wifi aanwezig.”

    “Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber. Die Einrichtung ist zweckmäßig, wobei die Ausstattung minimal vorliegt (Geschirr, Besteck, usw.). Wenn man toasten oder Kaffee kochen will, dann muss man sich die Geräte anderweitig besorgen.
    Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich.
    Das Haus ist sehr schön am Hang gelegen. Für die Anreise sollte man genau die Route in Castellabate checken. Wir hatten erhebliche Schwierigkeiten bei Dunkelheit unser Ziel zu finden. Auch war fussläufig nichts zu erreichen. Man ist auf das Auto angewiesen.
    Für Urlauber, die Erholung suchen, fern ab vom Touristenstrom, ist diese Wohnung gut zu empfehlen.”

    “Wir waren und sind sehr begeistert. Das Haus ist sehr hübsch und schön gelegen. Die Wohnung ist gepflegt und sauber. Es ist alles verfügbar, was man benötigt. Die Vermieter vor Ort sind super nett und sehr bemüht, familiäre Atmosphäre. Abends auf der großzügigen Terrasse zu sitzen ist ein Traum! Die Wohnung war trotz hohen Außentemperaturen angenehm kühl. Auch mit Kindern sehr zu empfehlen.”
