Two light holiday apartments in a renovated house on a large site, in the midst of nature

The house with the apartments is located in the midst of nature, in Waßmuthshausen, a district of Homberg-Efze, about 40km to the south of Kassel and about a ten-minute drive from the A7. It is on a large site and stands alone, surrounded by meadows, fields and forests. Even so, it is only four kilometres from the town centre.

The building was renovated in 2009 to a passive house standard. This ensures pleasant warmth in winter and keeps heat at bay in summer, as well as flies due to the ventilation system. The house comprises a larger and a smaller holiday apartment. A shower/WC, satellite TV, a radio, bed linen, towels and a child’s bed are provided.

You can simply relax on the 2700m² site, or grill, play badminton or play with your children. You can use the lawn with garden furniture, separate terraces, grill areas and parking spaces. Pets are allowed. A bread rolls, drinks and laundry service are available.

The surroundings invite you to go on walks. The animal park, a country butcher and a restaurant are within walking distance. Lakes for swimming, leisure parks and the historical town centre of the regional town of Homberg are just five to ten minutes away by car. Recreational options also include badminton, fitness, jogging, cycling, riding, swimming, tennis and hiking.

The apartment provides two bedrooms, one with a double bed (200 x 200cm) and the other with two single beds (100 x 200cm) that can be joined together. Two further people can sleep on the sofa bed (140 x 200cm) in the living room. The apartment also has a kitchen, a dining room and a modern bathroom with a shower.

    Die Raumverteilung ist sehr schön und die Zimmer sauber.
    Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet.
    Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und standen auch mit Tipps zur Verfügung.”

    “Wij zijn van 16 t/m 23 juli op vakantie geweest in dit appartement in Homberg-Efze. Het is ons zeer goed bevallen, ook onze honden waren zeer welkom, er lagen zelfs ligkussens voor ze! Het is een mooi huis met prachtig uitzicht over de velden, alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Je kunt vanuit het huis wandelingen maken, eerst een klein stukje langs de weg, die overigens niet heel druk is en dan kun je kilometers lopen zonder een mens tegen te komen. De tuin is ook fijn, het was warm en dan kun je er heerlijk zitten in de schaduw van de bomen. Voor herhaling vatbaar dus.”
