Ground-floor apartment in an old farmhouse on the Etruscan coast
The apartment is on the ground floor of an old farmhouse in the countryside, surrounded by olive trees and the hills of Tuscany.
Outside there are shared areas, as well as a private asphalted area with a table and chairs. The house is surrounded by greenery, but the access is fenced and only possible via an unasphalted track about 600 metres long.
The bedroom is furnished with a double bed (160 x 195cm), while in a corner of the living room there is a single bed (85 x 195cm) and a wardrobe. The kitchen is equipped with crockery and cutlery, and a stove with an electric oven. There is no air conditioning, but even in summer this is not necessary, as a fresh sea breeze is always blowing around the house.
The apartment does not have heating or Internet access.
The sea is just a couple of minutes away by car. Campiglia Marittima is a friendly place, just a couple of kilometres from the beautiful beaches, as well as from archaeological and historic sites. Nearby there are thermal spas and wellness centres. From the harbour in Piombino you can get to the island of Elba by ferry. The area is famous for its culinary specialities and its wines. You can also enjoy activities such as hiking, riding etc. in the area, or water sports such as windsurfing and sailing in the Gulf of Baratti.
