Modern holiday apartments with a shared garden, in a quiet and idyllic location near Limburg an der Lahn, ideal for walking and cycling

These two modern holiday apartments are situated in Hünfelden-Mensfelden, 7km from the centre of Limburg, the Limburg-Süd A3 motorway exit and the ICE train station Limburg-Süd. The apartments enjoy a quiet location by a field, a short walk from the forest and the Mensfelder Kopf with a wonderful view over the Limburg basin.

The four-star holiday apartment on the first floor is suitable for five to nine people, the four-star holiday apartment on the ground floor for two to six people. The apartments provide everything you need and all the necessary comfort. Board games for adults and children, as well as toys are provided.

The enclosed garden with garden furniture, a grill, a trampoline and a table tennis table can be used by all guests and invites you to relax. Five private car parking spaces are available.

The rural area invites you to go walking and cycling in the area or by the Lahn. There are many places of interest, such as the historical centre of Limburg with the famous Limburger Dom and Diözesanmuseum or Diez with the lovely old town and Oranienstein Castle. Wiesbaden and the Rheingau are 30 minutes away by car, with many vineyards and good German restaurants. If you are interested in castles, you can visit Burg Runkel, Schloss Schaumburg or Schloss Braunfels nearby. You will have an unforgettable and enjoyable time in the Limburger Land.

Hünsfelden-Mensfelden is one of seven localities in the Hünfelden municipality in the Limburg-Weilburg area in Hessen. Mensfelden is very quietly situated, has lovely surroundings and a beautiful forest. It is ideal for walking. The highlight is Mensfelder Kopf, from where you can look out over the whole Limburg basin.

This 100m² holiday apartment is on the ground floor and is suitable for two to six people. It has a big bedroom with a double bed 180cm wide, a TV, a fireplace stove and a direct door to the garden. A child’s bed can be provided on request. The other two rooms are each furnished with a white upholstered double bed (140 x 200cm). There is a modern bathroom with two washbasins, a WC, a shower and a window, ensuring a good start to the day. The apartment has a lovely living room with a black sofa bed, a red sofa bed, a white cupboard wall with a flatscreen TV and players. The fully-equipped, big, open kitchen with a transition to the stylish dining room with a display cabinet, a dining table, a bench and four chairs made of oiled oak will make cooking and dining a pleasure. This apartment has two wood-burning stoves. Firewood is included in the price.

    “Die Wohnung ist super gemütlich. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Es gibt mehrere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Nach Limburg dauert es nur zehn Minuten mit dem Auto. Die Ferienwohnung hat uns sehr gut gefallen.”

    “Positiv: Die Wohnung ist sehr, sehr gut ausgestattet. Es fehlte an fast nichts. Es gab reichlich Küchenausstattung, super viel Besteck und Gläser. Alles sehr sauber. Ausreichend viel Platz. Schön, dass in den Doppelzimmern Waschbecken vorhanden sind. Recht großes Sofa mit vielen Kissen und ausreichend Decken. Sehr gemütlich. Negativ: Der Bäcker im Ort hat nicht jeden Tag geöffnet. Aber mit dem Auto kann man im nächsten Ort zum Supermarkt”
