Rustic and cozy cottage in Elgå by lake Femund.

This charming cottage has a good location with a view of Femund Lake and the surrounding mountains. It is well equipped and has comfortable facilities so you can make the most of your stay. Cozy up on the sofa with your extended family in the evening and play a game of cards by a warming fireplace and make plans for your upcoming vacation days. In the summer months, on warm days you can cozy up on the terrace long into the evening and enjoy the panoramic view to the fullest.

There are wonderful fishing opportunities as well as swimming opportunities in and around Femund Lake. Fish species such as grayling, whitefish, trout and char can be found in several places. Also take advantage of the many hiking opportunities and enjoy the tranquility of nature. Do not hesitate to visit the National Park Center Femundsmarka in the municipality of Elgå, located at the southern entrance of Femundsmarka National Park. The center was opened in the summer of 2005 in a beautiful new building, where you can find exhibitions and information about Femundsmarka and Gutulia National Park.
In winter you will find ideal conditions for winter sports almost right outside the door and beautiful ski resorts can be reached after a short drive.
