This well-kept holiday home in the picturesque province of Friesland awaits you in an inviting holiday park. The living room with open-plan kitchen offers direct access to the large, fully fenced garden with swing and slide. The garden fence consists of conifers and a wooden fence that is at least 80 cm high. The wooden garden gate is also 80 cm high. You can enjoy your privacy here in peace and quiet after an active day. Board games are available in the holiday home. There is a Senseo and a standard coffee machine in the kitchen. The holiday park offers facilities such as an outdoor pool with separate children's pool, cafeteria, playground, table tennis, tennis court and volleyball court. Bicycles can be hired from reception.
The immediate surroundings have a lot to offer. Visit the Wadden Sea, where you can go on mudflat walks and experience unique nature. You can cycle or walk along the dyke towards Harlingen, with views of the Wadden Sea on one side and the typical terps with authentic farms on the other. The beautiful harbour town of Harlingen is only 14 km away. Here you will find a beach and many shops, but you can also admire the town hall, the lighthouse and the Zuiderhaven marina.
A ferry departs from Harlingen to the Wadden Islands of Vlieland and Terschelling, which are definitely worth a visit. Just 5 km from the holiday home is the town of Franeker, known from the Eleven Cities Tour. Visit the old town centre and the planetarium.
Leeuwarden, the capital of Friesland, is only 22 km from the holiday home. On cooler days, you can visit the Aeolus indoor playground with your children. This playground is only 5 kilometres away and offers a wide range of activities. There is a lot to discover in the glass pyramid. The holiday home is approx. 7 km from the Bloemketerp indoor swimming pool in Franeker.

    “Op de website staat dat er een wasmachine aanwezig. Bij aankomst bleek de wasmachine inderdaad aanwezig, maar niet functionerend. Met een klein kind hadden we gerekend op een functionerende wasmachine. Dit is een groot minpunt.

    Verder zag het huisje er schoon uit. Het is wel wat sober ingericht, maar smaken verschillen. Het huisje is ruim en verder van alle gemakken voorzien. Daarnaast ook een grote tuin met omheining. Rondom en in huis kindvriendelijk.”
