    “Architektonisch sicherlich kein Highlight der Algarve, mehrstöckige Hochhäuser und Hotelanlagen prägen das Stadtbild. Supermärkte zahlreich vorhanden, für Restaurants sind wir auf benachbarte Orte ausgewichen.
    Der weitläufige Sandstrand mit Dünenlandschaft war dennoch, ebenso wie die dort ansässigen Flamingos, mehrere Besuche wert. Für Pferdenarren ist die Quinta da Saudade ein echter Tipp, hier werden im Winter auch Ausritte an den Strand angeboten.”

    “Der Ort Armação de Pêra ist ein kleiner Ort in der Nähe von Albufeira. Mit dem Auto ist man in 15 Minuten in Albufeira. Der Strand im Ort Armação de Pêra ist sehr weitläufig und eignet sich wunderbar zum Spazieren und baden. Am westlichen Rand gibt es eine kleine weiße Kirche direkt an der Küste auf einem Felsen. Von dort aus kann man mit einem Fischerboot die Höhlen, Grotten und Buchten erkunden. Die 20,- € pro Person haben sich in jedem Fall gelohnt! Wir haben die Fahrt mit Kapitän Fernando gemacht. Ich empfehle die Tour am Vormittag gegen 10Uhr zu machen. Die Tickets gibt es auf dem Parkplatz an der Kirche in einem kleinen Holzhäuschen. Von der Kirche aus kann man auch eine Wanderung auf den Felsen an der Küste unternehmen. Dabei findet man kleine Badebuchten und Höhleneingänge. Das war auch sehr schön! Der Strand an der Kirche ist auch super und durch einen Höhlengang läuft man zum Strand nebenan. In der Stadt selbst war jetzt nicht soviel zu erkunden aber die umliegenden Städte bieten dafür mehr Möglichkeiten zum Einkaufen.”
